The nation’s top ranked shooting guard from IMG Academy announces she’s heading to the West Coast for her collegiate basketball career

Jessie Moses, the nation’s top-ranked combo guard, is off the board as she announced her commitment to the University of Washington on Tuesday. The 5-foot-9 senior from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, chose the Huskies over Michigan State, Rutgers, TCU, UCF, among several others. She also received offers from Clemson, Miami, Harvard, Illinois, Virginia, and several others.
Moses is currently ranked No. 30 overall, the No. 2-ranked combo guard, and the No. 4 overall-ranked player in the state of Florida in the class of 2027, according to 247Sports.
During her junior season she transferred from Westtown (Pennsylvania) to IMG Academy (Florida) where she made an immediate impact for the Ascenders. In 24 games played during the 2024-2025 season, Moses averaged 19 points and 3.4 rebounds per game leading the Westtown School to an appearance at Chipotle Nationals.
Moses becomes the second Huskies commit in the upcoming recruiting cycle, where she joins Archbishop Mitty in San Jose, California four-star guard Ze’Ni Patterson, who committed last month.
The Huskies are still pursuing the top point guard and overall player in the class, Kaleena Smith. Washington has already hosted Smith for a visit and has had an in-home date with the top-rated recruit.
The Huskies have already doubled the number of players committed from the Class of 2026. Four-star guard Amayah Garcia was the team’s lone recruitment from last season’s recruiting cycle.
