6-7 SF Kolton Kaylor, Fannin County HS (GA)- 2027
Kaylor is one of the fastest-rising prospects in the 2027 class for the state. On the offensive end, Kaylor has become more comfortable putting the ball on the deck from the elbow and using long strides to attack the rim rather than settling for a jumper when the ball is in his hands. He is also a vital perimeter scoring threat off the catch as he has maintained one of the smoothest shooting strokes in the class. On the defensive end, his length allows him to contest shots without fouling and stay disciplined. He has also shown flashes of switching onto the perimeter, where he shows elite foot speed and can stay in front of smaller guards. In the half-court offense, he is a high-volume catch-and-shoot threat who can score on all three levels and has a high release, so defenders can not reach to contest. Thomas has also become comfortable running pick-and-roll actions, and he shows a willingness to pass up a good shot for a great one, which matters more than people think at this age. On the defensive end, he can play inside as well as outside where his length and athleticism allow him to guard on the perimeter and can snatch timely rebounds at the rim, limiting the opposition from getting second-chance scoring opportunities.

On the defensive end, he can be a matchup problem for the opposition with his given versatility, as he is unafraid to challenge himself by guarding the paint as well as showing elite footwork to defend the three-point line. Overall, he is consistently finding ways to make an impact on both ends of the floor that go beyond his scoring and rebounding prowess. He has one of the top upsides in the state heading into his junior season.

6-7 SF Lamar “LJ” Byrd Jr., Peachtree Ridge HS (GA)- 2028
The 6-foot-7 junior wing showcases good size, along with good ball skills that allow him to blow by defenders with different types of attacks in the lane off the bounce on the offensive end. He is unafraid when it comes to attacking downhill throughout the game, where he uses his size and strength at the rim to finish while absorbing contact. Overall, he can create advantages and put pressure on the defense with his size and given versatility, allowing him to make an impact on all three levels.

6-5 SF Jacody Terry, South Gwinnett HS (GA)- 2029
Terry continues to show that his game is more than making highlight plays at the rim. He is growing in confidence shooting from beyond the three-point line both off the catch and off the bounce on the offensive end. On the defensive end, he displays a ton of length and athleticism when playing above the rim, whether it’s his shot-blocking or high-level rebounding ability. Overall, Terry is a versatile wing who could be drawing interest from Division-1 schools before his sophomore season comes to an end.

6-7 SF Jacori Thompson, Grayson HS (GA)- 2029
Thompson, standing at 6-foot-7, has the length to guard several positions on the defensive end and finish over smaller defenders around the rim on the offensive end. He is very switchable on the defensive end as well, where his height allows him to make an impact in the paint, and he displays elite footwork when guarding on the perimeter. Overall, Thompson does a great job when it comes to spacing the floor, attacking closeouts, and trusting the interior players to handle their assignments on both ends.
