The No. 89-overall ranked prospect in the Class of 2027, according to 247Sports will make an official visit with an Atlantic-10 school this fall:
Quincy Douby Jr. A four-star point guard in the Class of 2027 has scheduled an official visit with Saint Louis the weekend of August 27-29. The news was first reported by Sam Kayser of League Ready.
Douby is a 6-foot-4 rising senior point guard at Riviera Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. He is the son of Quincy Douby, who was selected with the 19th overall pick in the 2006 National Basketball Association (NBA) Draft by the Sacramento Kings. He played his collegiate basketball career at Rutgers University from 2003 to 2006 under Gary Waters. He was also named to the All-Big East Freshman Team, where he scored 35 points in a National Invitational Tournament (NIT) semifinal win over Iowa State in 2004.
Douby is the No. 89-overall ranked player, the No. 9-ranked shooting guard, and the No. 16-overall ranked player in the state of Florida in the Class of 2027, according to 247Sports.
Douby currently holds nearly a dozen offers from notable schools such as California, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Florida International, New Mexico State, among several others. Since the scholastic Live Period ended last week, he added verbal offers from Southern Methodist University (SMU) and the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB).
During his junior season at Riviera Prep, Douby averaged 17.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 48% from the field, 39% from the three-point line, and 84% from the free-throw line in 28 games played.
Riviera Prep finished the 2025-2026 season with a 19-10 record and saw its season end in the Class 2A Region 4 Finals to eventual state runner-up Miami Country Day. The Bulldogs came up just short of winning a fourth consecutive state championship.
Riviera Preparatory School is located in Miami, Florida. The school has an enrollment of around 680 students (As of the 2025-2026 school year). With a dynamic curriculum, small class sizes, and a nurturing environment, Riviera Prep fosters critical thinking and creativity. The school offers a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, extracurricular programs, and competitive athletics, proudly represented by the Bulldogs.
