LAS VEGAS- The summer Live Periods have arrived, and we take a look at six (6) prospects who shined on the opening night at the Nike EYBL Las Vegas session on Wednesday night:

6-6 SF Colton Hiller, ProScholars Athletes Cardinals- 2028

The 6-foot-6 rising junior is climbing the national rankings, and he was effective on all three scoring levels in the matchup against AB Elite. He finished with 15 points and 4 assists in the win, displaying creativity both on and off the ball. He was fearless when it came to finishing at the rim while absorbing contact, where he earned trips to the free-throw line. On the defensive end, he played with confidence in the passing lanes, snatching down timely rebounds and pushing tempo, leading to transition-scoring opportunities.

6-3 PG Navorro Bowman Jr, Team WhyNot- 2027

The 6-foot-3 rising senior point guard put together one of the most electrifying performances on Day 1 at the Nike EYBL Las Vegas session. He finished with a triple-double: 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in the 78-60 opening-night win over Drive Nation. He used his physical frame when it came to finishing around the rim and knocking down mid-range shots both off the catch and on the bounce. Bowman has solidified himself to being one of the top guards in the upcoming senior class.

6-1 PG Cayden Daughtry, Florida Rebels EYBL- 2027

The 6-foot-1 rising senior point guard put on the highlight performance of the night, where he made an impact in all three phases. He started the game by knocking down perimeter jump shots, which forced the defense into making a quick adjustment. He mixed in his blend of three-level scoring, playmaking for his teammates, and versatility on the defensive end. In the win over Vegas Elite, Daughtry finished with a game-high 37 points and four steals. He also made a huge impact on the glass, where he snatched seven rebounds, which led all guards. The Top-10 prospect has made a huge name for himself throughout the summer.

6-7 SF Jayon Connor, Team CP3 EYBL- 2027

The 6-foot-7 rising senior wing continues to show his two-way presence when he steps onto the floor. In a win over Utah Prospects, Connor finished with a double-double (20 points and 12 rebounds) while also adding three assists and two steals. On the offensive end, he was scoring at a high rate around the rim, whether it was finishing put-backs or getting to the dunker’s spot. On the defensive end, he used his length to his advantage when it came to guarding multiple positions, jumping the passing lanes, and forcing turnovers.

6-8 SF Demarcus Henry, Vegas Elite EYBL- 2027

The 6-foot-8 rising senior wing recently narrowed down his top schools to eight and continues to make headlines with his elite shot-making and versatility. He is a multi-level scorer who can operate both off the catch and the bounce on the offensive end. In a tough loss to the Florida Rebels, Henry finished with a double-double (19 points and 10 rebounds). He also made plays happen with his length, as he was altering shots around the rim, and he recorded a pair of blocks. His skill set of size, length, high motor, and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor really stood out overall.

6-3 PG Beckham Black, AB Elite EYBL- 2027

The 6-foot-3 rising senior point guard did a great job when it came to running the offense despite a tough loss to the PSA Cardinals. Black showcased his true court vision and poise, finishing with 19 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals. He controlled the pace throughout the game, where his ability to score on all three levels wasn’t the primary focus. He made quick decisions on when to shoot versus facilitate to his teammates on the offensive end. On the defensive end, he showed a true unselfish approach, whether it was primarily guarding on the ball or the ability to guard off the ball with his quick movement and reacting in the passing lanes. His ability to understand the game makes him one of the top guards in the upcoming senior class.
