Carson Crawford, A four-star senior small forward out of Fleming Island High School, will make his collegiate commitment on Wednesday, September 2, at 7:00 p.m. Crawford will choose between Arizona State, Florida State, Ole Miss, Providence, and Syracuse. Before trimming his list down to five, Crawford was receiving offers from Cincinnati, Florida A&M, Georgia, Le Moyne, South Florida, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech.
Crawford is rated as the No. 50 overall-ranked player in the nation, the No. 13 small forward, and the No. 11 overall-ranked player in the state of Florida in the class of 2027, according to 247Sports.
Crawford spent the Grassroots season playing with the Florida Rebels on the Nike EYBL Circuit, where he averaged 7.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while shooting 55% from the field.
During his junior season at Fleming Island, Crawford averaged 17.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 54% from the field and 64% from the free-throw line. He played a lead role in the Golden Eagles to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 5A Championship Game where they finished as a runner-up before having their season come to an end against Pembroke Pines Charter.
According to 247Sports’ Recruiting Analyst Travis Branham, Arizona State is among the favorites to land Crawford.
