Top-60 recruit in the Class of 2028 will play in the Nike EYBL Scholastic for his remaining two years of high school basketball

Jordan Mitchell, A 6-foot-4 combo guard, is on the move ahead of his upcoming junior season; he confirmed with Southeast Hoops Report on Monday. Mitchell is intending on attending Link Academy in Branson, Missouri in a report that was first reported by NextUpRecruits on X.

Mitchell is the No. 57-overall-ranked recruit in the Class of 2028, the No. 8 combo guard, and the No. 2 overall-ranked player in the state of Kentucky, according to 247Sports. He has been highly regarded as one of the top recruits to watch in the upcoming junior class.

Mitchell is coming off a spectacular summer season where he played for Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL Circuit 16U age division. The Louisville, Kentucky native has made huge strides this summer, where he has picked up offers from Morehead State, Oklahoma State, and TCU, among several others.

He has taken unofficial visits with Auburn, Duke, Kentucky, Houston, Missouri, and North Carolina. The 6-foot-4 rising junior combo guard also took unofficial visits to Louisville and Ohio State earlier this year.

During his sophomore season at Male High School, Mitchell raised his scoring average from 15.2 points as a freshman to 20.5 points per game as a sophomore. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game last season for the Bulldogs. He guided the Bulldogs to a 17-13 record last season, where their season came to an end against Ballard High School back on March 3.
