The 3-star point guard led Osborne High School in scoring last season is transferring to the Sunshine State for his upcoming senior season.

Nate Winters, A 6-foot-7 point guard, confirmed with Southeast Hoops Report that he will be transferring from Osborne High School in Marietta, Georgia, to Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for his senior season on Tuesday.
Winters joins a loaded Westminster Academy squad that already has 5-foot-10 senior guard Dwight Gaines, 5-foot-10 freshman guard Aiden Wallhoff, 6-foot-5 sophomore guard Desean Clayton, and 7-foot-2 senior center Kimario Sherman.
Winters currently holds offers from Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Kennesaw State, and the University of Illinois-Chicago. During his junior season with Osborne High School, he averaged 15.2 points (Led the team), 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game. He shot 37% from the field, 30% from behind the three-point line, and 65% from the free-throw line.
Winters offers a unique blend of size and versatility. At 6-foot-7, he has the ability to score at all three levels while using his length and athleticism to defend multiple positions. Whether creating offense with the ball in his hands, knocking down perimeter shots, or attacking the rim, he brings the type of all-around skill set that continues to attract attention from college programs.
During the Grassroots season, Winters plays with Outside the Perimeter (OTP) on the NXTPRO/PRO16 League, where he has emerged as one of the top combo guards in his age group.
