CARTERSVILLE, Ga.- The second Live Period of the summer kicks off this week, and we are previewing the Georgia Basketball Coaches Association (GBCA) Live Period, where nearly 150 teams across the Southeast Region will take the stage at the 12-court facility at LakePoint Sports. Here are ten (10) rising seniors to watch throughout the event:

6-6 SG Jarvis Hayes, Woodward Academy (GA), Atlanta Xpress UAA- 2027

The 6-foot-6 rising senior wing is highly regarded as one of the top prospects in the nation for his class, according to numerous scouting services. Hayes shows great length, size, and athleticism every time he steps onto the floor, and he is unafraid to finish above the rim while also showing his range from the perimeter. He has become more comfortable when playing off the ball, where he can create his own shot off the catch. He is also coming off a stellar junior season where he received All-State honors. Overall, he is a big-time athlete who will take a huge leap in his recruitment as he heads into his senior season.

6-0 PG Kevin “Tre” Savage, Wheeler (GA), Game Elite Basketball 3SSB- 2027

The 6-foot rising senior guard has made huge strides since the beginning of his sophomore season, where he is regarded as one of the top point guards in the country. He plays with extreme poise and confidence when operating on the offensive end, where he can get his teammates involved as well as know when to take over in close-game situations. The left-handed point guard is a natural three-level scorer, effective both off the catch and on the bounce. Overall, he has a great feel and understanding of the game, where his high IQ allows him to be efficient as a scorer and facilitator. Savage earned All-State honors during his junior season where he helped lead the Wildcats to another state championship this year.

6-10 PF Kyle Blair, The First Academy (FL), SOH Elite UAA- 2027

The 6-foot-10 rising senior power forward has burst onto the scene in his recruitment, where he is picking up offers from mid-majors to Power 4 schools this spring. He brings his high-level size, motor, length, and athleticism to the table, where he can impact the game on both ends of the floor in multiple ways. He also adds great energy, rebounds at a high rate, and consistently improves each time he steps onto the floor. Blair continues to be effective where he can be on the verge of a strong second half of the summer and carry a lot of momentum recruitment wise into his senior season.

6-0 PG Cayden Daughtry, Calvary Christian Academy (FL), Florida Rebels EYBL- 2027

The 6-foot rising senior guard is currently leading the Nike EYBL circuit in assists and scoring. He has taken off in his recruitment, where he is ranked in the top five for his position in the class. Daughtry is an elite guard who can make an impact offensively in a variety of ways, and he is the tone setter for his team. He helped lead the Eagles to their second consecutive state championship during his junior season. The highly-touted guard is being recruited by nearly 30 Power 4 schools and is expected to take an official visit with Iowa in September before making a decision on his commitment.

6-9 PF Evan Toms, Huntsville (AL), 4:44 Athletics PRO16- 2027

The 6-foot-9 rising senior power forward can impact the game in a variety of ways, whether it’s his elite footwork, playing inside-and-out, and rebounding at a high level on both ends of the floor. On the offensive end, he has a strong shooting stroke where he can score on all three levels. He also adds great length, where he can rebound consistently and finish around the rim at a high rate. On the defensive end, he can guard positions 1 through 4 with his ability to use his length in the passing lanes, as well as snatching down timely rebounds, and can push the tempo with his smooth handle in the open court.

7-1 Center Akol Nyok, Christopher Columbus HS (FL), Tre Mann Elite PRO16- 2027

The 7-foot-1 rising senior center continues to scratch the surface and has emerged onto the scene as a Top-20 overall recruit in his class. He continues to show steady improvement in his combination skillset of length, athleticism, and strength when patrolling the rim on both ends of the floor. He is a steady threat on the offensive end when it comes to finishing above the rim, whether it’s off the catch or on put-back dunk attempts. Nyok has utilized quickness for his size, where he can run the floor exceptionally well in transition-scoring opportunities. Nyok will look to have a strong second half of the summer as he heads into his senior season where he will look to lead the Explorers to a record-setting sixth consecutive Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state championship.

6-4 CG Justin Wise, North Oconee HS (GA), JET Academy EYBL- 2027

The 6-foot-4 combo guard is a Top-100 nationally ranked recruit who displays a strong IQ and a great feel for the game on both ends of the floor. On offense, he has emerged as a vital three-level scorer where he can play as the primary ball handler and get to his spots off the ball. He possesses great size and strength and plays under control from the opening tip to the final buzzer. On the defensive end, he is quick to jump the passing lanes, apply pressure when guarding the ball, and is unafraid to utilize his athleticism to be active on the glass, limiting opponents from getting second-chance scoring opportunities.

6-6 SF Quint McGrath, Mount Vernon HS (GA), Redline Basketball UA Rise- 2027

The 6-foot-6 rising senior wing continues to establish himself as one of the top skilled guards in the Peach State for his class. McGrath is a smart and skilled guard who uses his precise passing skills to get his teammates involved early and often in possession. On the offensive end, he is often used as a floor spacer where he can score on all three levels, continuously applying pressure on opposing defenses. He can also score on the inside, where he uses his length and strength to play above the rim, whether it’s finishing off two feet or getting put-backs off missed shots. Overall, he is a reliable shot maker and an above-average defender who can guard multiple positions as well as play a versatile role on the offensive end.

6-3 PG Aaron Britt Jr., The Villages Charter (FL), Tre Mann Elite PRO16- 2027

The 6-foot-3 rising senior guard is quick and shifty when he has the basketball in his hands, where he continues to force defenders into making fast decisions. He has a crafty handle where he can operate in space as well as blow by defenders using his speed when it comes to finishing at the rim on the offensive end. While playing with Tre Mann Elite, he continues to be one of the best guards on the court, where he can be effective both on and off the ball. During his junior season at The Villages Charter, Britt averaged a team-best 18.5 points per game, as the Buffalo finished as a state runner-up.

6-8 PF Solomon Bratton, Milton HS (GA), JET Academy EYBL- 2027

The 6-foot-8 rising senior power forward is a long and wiry athlete who can excel in the open court, whether it’s finishing lobs or the ability to stretch the floor, knocking down shots from the perimeter. He has a strong and versatile skill set on the defensive end, where he can guard multiple positions and snatch down timely rebounds with his wingspan reaching over 7 feet. Bratton is receiving interest from several Power 4 schools and could be an emerging target for college coaches as the summer Live Period approaches.
