Unranked shooting guard Brelyn Moses announced his move to the reigning Class 1A champion Sagemont Lions on Monday night.

Brelyn Moses, A 6-foot-6 rising junior shooting guard, confirmed with Southeast Hoops Report on Monday night that he will be transferring from Rocky Mount (NC) to Sagemont Prep (FL) for his upcoming junior season.

Moses played this past Grassroots season for Team Loaded, which is a part of the Adidas 3SSB Circuit. He picked up nearly a dozen offers, including from Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and several others.

During his sophomore season, Moses averaged 18.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.4 steals, and nearly a block per game. He shot 54% from the field and struggled from the free-throw line last season shooting just 56% from the charity stripe. He recorded 13 double-doubles in 22 games played for the Gryphons last season, according to MaxPreps.

The Lions are coming off a 2025-2026 season where they won the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 1A Championship where they defeated Victory Christian Academy (Lakeland) back on March 7th. It marked the program’s four state championship in program history as well as their fourth consecutive state title, dating back to 2023.

Moses joins a loaded Sagemont squad that is headlined by 6-foot-3 junior guard Ezra Gelin, 6-foot-5 junior guard Branden Sharpe, and 6-foot senior guard Noah Francois.
